Day 10- CLAP YOUR HANDS

this song is fun as hell. seriously, i love it XD every time i listen to it, i feel like dancing. i’ve talked about the signature 2NE1 style before, and this song has it. though, i think what i really love most about this song is how much Dara sings in it. she barely has a part in most of their music, and it’s nice that she sings the majority of this one :) she finally gets to show that, yes, she IS talented.

i think this is one of my favourite videos as well. it helps me be more energetic to see them dance throughout the whole thing- i want to learn the whole dance and do it along with them! plus, they all look super hott. which they always do.

Dara needs to wear red lips every day.

Day 9- PLEASE DON’T GO (CL AND MINZY)

this song is pretty good! another one that isn’t a single, and therefore doesn’t get as much recognition as it deserves. i will admit though, it’s not my absolute favourite, i miss Bommie and Dara in this XD although, i also thinking that it being only them really adds to it as well. Minzy and CL are the young, hip ones. this song really has a young energy that, although the other songs have, translates more in this one because the girls actually are young! i love Dara and Bom, but they’re in their mid-late twenties. this song really does have the teen vibe :) i love that about this song.

they don’t need any more solos i don’t think though. LOL

Day 8- LOVE IS OUCH

bah i’ve been bad for this, i’m sorry! today is my birthday, and i’ve been celebrating! hopefully this will be going back to daily until i’m done now.

anyways, this song is another song that i find is completely underrated! it is one from their To Anyone album that doesn’t have a lot of listeners due to not having a music video and such.. i don’t know, in my opinion, i think that it should have been a single :) its such a good one! and, again, Moamelody covers it brilliantly ;D here’s a link to it even, guys. seriously, 2NE1 fans, look Moa up, she was fantastic.. anyway, yeah, i love this song, its cute but full of emotion, and it’s nice to hear a slow song from them, and uklsglaha IT NEEDS MORE RECOGNITION! LOVE IT, EVERYBODY, LOVEEE ITTTTTT.

Day 7- IT HURTS

i’m sorry i missed yesterday, a friend came to visit my dorm for my birthday on sunday. she’s still here, she says hi :)

anyways- It Hurts. this song is so beautiful and sad. its so heartfelt, they sing with such emotion. this song is extremely underrated! it’s also one of the songs that Moamelody covers best ;D just saying

the music video is beautiful too! it’s so Gothic, but i love that about it! it makes it that much more romantic. they all look absolutely stunning too, especially Bommie with the teal hair :) i also like that Dara is the main focus of this video. she’s usually unappreciated, which makes me sad. she really brings something to the band :)

Day 6b- DON’T CRY (PARK BOM)

i like to think of this video as a continuation of You & I, even though its a different male actor. its just cool that in her first solo, she loses her love, and in this one, she meets him again after his death, and just ajkgfdhslkhdlds so cute </3 and so sad ahhh! this video is just as beautiful as You & I, and seriously, the song is just as good as well.

the one thing i find cool about this video in contrast to the song is that they’re not directly related. unless you have done research or listened to Moamelody like i did, the average 2NE1 english or other language fan may not be aware that this song is actually a breakup song, which is definitely not what this video makes it out to be. It says that its the end of they’re relationship, but maybe they’ll meet again. i think thats so cute :)

Day 6a- YOU & I (PARK BOM)

today i will be doing 2 of these, because i want to cover both of Bommie’s songs at once. first of all, i just want to mention that i think this girl is perfect. seriously, love Bommie to bits :) she’s definitely one of my favourite members and, i have to admit, i definitely think she’s the most talented! theres a reason she’s the lead singer!

welp, on to the content! this song, for one, is amazing. seriously, its one of my favourites as well. Bom, although adds SO much to the group, really does have such a different style than the other girls, and, i have to say, i’m in love with it! her music, in general, is absolutely wonderful <3 not only in sound, but, for this one at least, writing. although i don’t know the exact translation, from what Moamelody has shown me, the lyrics are heartfelt and beautiful, and definitely not as sad as the video XD

the video literally makes me tear up. what’s more romantic than creating a christmas for  your terminally ill boyfriend who wont make it to the real one? absolutely nothing. what a sweet concept, although also extremely sad :( its obvious that Bom is an emotional girl considering the emotion she puts into her singing, but man, this just proves it. she has such a big heart :) <3

Day 5- DON’T STOP THE MUSIC

this song is one of my favourites :) its catchy, energetic, and makes me want to buy a Yamaha Fiore scooter! like I am the best, this song really represents their energetic, techno style, with more of an outgoing sound to it!

i really, really like the MV to this song, especially at 2:20 and on :) those shots are absolutely stunning, they all look beautiful! well, they always look beautiful, but the girls look softer and less edgy than usual. it’s a good look for them! however, the soft part of this video aside, i love the carefree-ness of this video a lot! it looks like it would have been a lot of fun to film :)

when it comes to vocal’s in this song, as always, Bom blows it out of the water!.. yeah. thats it really :p this song is amazing, but i can’t say there’s a special aspect that i can expand on. they’re always talented, and this is nothing over their usual ability tbh!

and and nice clothes guys :p yeah.. not much to say about this one actually. i love it, and.. yeah!

Day 4- I AM THE BEST

i love this song, and i thought this was a good contrast to yesterdays video Ugly. :p this song is so egotistical, but seriously, its so deserved. this band IS the best, and they know it! they are on TOP of the kpop music industry right now, and, i mean, the reason i’m doing this whole thing is because they won best new band!

the beat to this song is fantastic. when i think 2NE1, i definitely think about this style of music. as it says on the info bar of this video: The beat, electronic styled instrumentals make it a true club beat. this is what 2NE1 is famous for :p this is an aspect of them that i LOVE!i love being able to dance to their music, and this song is definitely catchy!

i will be honest though, there are aspects of this video that i really don’t like. first of all, CL in the straight jacket is wayyy to random for me. it didn’t fit in at all. i also didn’t like when they stood in a circle and shot the guns. if they want to shoot guns, i’m sure there’s a way that looks a little more… i don’t know, relevant? anyways, besides that, i do like the video :) its the random theme that they’re good at, and its totally badass, which suits the egotistical feel very much.

Day 3- UGLY

this song is a favourite of most of my friends who are into this band; and with good reason! its a given that this song sounds good. its completely them, but also has almost a Rock style that they pull off amazingly. its one of their only songs that doesn’t have their signature techno beats, and thats always refreshing to hear. however, the quality of this song isn’t why it’s so popular among my fiends.

i will say from experience, even though i’m usually confident, that there are days that i feel self conscious. although i’ve never looked in the morror and thought “im hideous Dx!!1 i don’t deserve life”, there have definitely been days where i wished i looked different, because my appearance didn’t seem good enough. and i know i’m not the only one out there. finally, teenage girls (or boys) have a song they can relate to. 2NE1 has pinpointed the feelings that many of us have about ourselves every day. and they do it beautifully.

the music video to this song is flawless. seriously. i love how they basically trash the whole beauty industry! it’s like the song is about feeling ugly, but the music video is about empowering yourself, and forgetting the feeling. because no one should ever feel ugly :) i also love that they don’t actually sing the song in this. they’re just girls having fun and trying to feel beautiful!

Day 2- I Don’t Care (Reggae Version)

i wish they had made a music video for this one :)

this version of this song is so much better, i actually love it, and i’m not usually a fan of reggae. the original i don’t care is a disappointment, i wont lie. this, however, is absolutely flawless!

i don’t know how i got so into this song, but one day i just found myself listening to it constantly. i love the last minute of it especially, that part is amazingly well done! they sing it with so much feeling, and it really shows the talent that these girls have :)

the one thing i can say i don’t like about any version of i don’t care though is turning on the radio and basically hearing the same song. JRDN, i would appreciate it if you wrote your own music please and thank you xox
